UK Grounded fest to host Iran ‘Game without Zero’

The Grounded Film Festival in the UK has scheduled to host Iranian short film ‘Game without Zero’.

Directed by Mostafa Rostampour, the short will be in contention at the first edition of the English film event.

A brief synopsis for the flick reads, “a little girl is looking for a wedding ring for her doll. She wants to wed her two little dolls”.

The short has already attended a number of international film events, including the Children’s’ Film Festival in Bangladesh, the Ridgefield Independent Film Festival in the US, the Covellite International Film Festival in the US and the Yerevan Short Film Festival in Armenia.

The Grounded Film Festival is a free to enter and a part of a bigger event named the Marbella International Film Festival. It aims to provide a record of the unusual times caused by coronavirus; the times that people have to isolate themselves and stay at home.

The festival accepts films from any genres and languages that are between 2 to 15 minutes.

The award ceremony of the festival will be held in October 2020.
